Volvo Fuel Pump and Strainer Set - Delphi 31355023

Product Information

A fuel pump and strainer set is a critical assembly in the fuel delivery system that ensures clean, pressurized fuel reaches the engine. The fuel pump draws fuel from the tank and delivers it to the injectors at the correct pressure, while the strainer (or pre-filter) prevents dirt, debris, and contaminants from entering the pump and fuel lines. Together, they maintain efficient combustion, engine performance, and fuel system longevity.

• Hard starting or no-start condition, due to insufficient fuel pressure.
• Engine sputtering or stalling, especially under load or at high speeds.
• Whining noise from the fuel tank, often signaling a failing fuel pump.
