Product Information

This Proparts fuel pump is a unique one-year only complete fuel pump assembly for the 2004 Volvo P2R, which encapsulates the S60R and V70R. It includes the level sender, which is also available separately as [30742663]. When replacing the fuel pump in these cars, the left sender side must also be opened, so we recommend purchasing 2x fuel pump o-rings to ensure a tight seal on both sides when going together.

Once the wiring is disconnected, we highly recommend tying a string or wire to the old connectors when you pull it through to the other side. Then you can easily tie and pull the new wiring back through the other side without having to fish it through. It is almost impossible to get the wire back through the interior of the fuel tank if you do not do this.

V70R fuel pump
Hi guys, thanks for yet another quality part, saved hundreds of dollars doing the job myself, we had the dreaded fuel smell coming from under the car and found that the factory pump was leaking at the top where the pipes go on. Make sure you lign up the notches to the fuel tank and don't let the wires hang up on the fuel gauge senders as you will get wrong readings on the gauge ! :)

Fuel leak fixed !
We had a fuel leak with our 2004 V70R,( Plastic upper section fatigued) thank heavens that FCP could supply a new pump for a very reasonable price ! Just be careful when you reinstall the LH sender that the electrical wires don't fowl on the float wire, I had this happen and our fuel gauge gave incorrect readings. Darrin.
