Product Information

NOTE: This kit has an updated fitting to the fuel filter, which will look different than the instructions in the kit. Please view this installation guide for the updated procedure: [CLICK HERE]**.

When loosening the fuel filter, the connection adapter is often destroyed. Since the manufacturer only offers complete cables, some of which are no longer available, we offer this repair kit as a more cost-effective alternative. Use with fuel filter [30671182]. 1090571 is ONLY for the connection from the filter to the fuel line going to the engine! NOT for the intake side of the filter, coming from the pump.

Questions & Answers

Ask a question
Question Posted by a customer
The OE fuel line is too small for the brass fitting that comes with the kit. Any tricks for stretching the OE line?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
It is a really tight fit, I would use a small dab of some lubricate or soap to help join the fitting to the hose, but it should be a really secure tight fit to get the fitting mounted.
