Volvo Fuel Pressure Regulator - Genuine Volvo 9404583

Fuel Injectors require a set amount of fuel pressure to ensure they can spray a fine mist of fuel into the engine cylinder. As the engine accelerates more fuel is sprayed into the cylinder by spraying for a longer period of time. The fuel injection pressure regulator is designed to maintain a set fuel pressure (between 25 and 60 lbs.) no matter if you are idling or accelerating.

This is original, it was fairly easy to change (approx 30 mins). I used the original o-ring, but would have bought a new one if I had to do it again. The S-shape vacuum hose that connects to the FPR needed replacement as it was old and has a crack. Old FRP was 11 years old.Car is starting super fast and no longer leaks gasoline.

Some of the reviewers above may have been rewarded for their positive & negative reviews. We don't hold anything back.
