A fuel filler hose is a flexible tube that connects the fuel filler neck to the fuel tank, allowing fuel to flow safely into the tank during refueling. Designed to withstand fuel exposure, pressure, and vibration, the hose is made from durable, fuel-resistant rubber or synthetic materials. A properly functioning fuel filler hose ensures efficient fueling while preventing leaks and fuel vapor escape.

Fuel Filler Hose Failure Symptoms

Fuel leaks near the filler neck or under the vehicle during or after refueling.
Strong fuel odors, caused by cracks or deterioration in the hose.
Check Engine Light (EVAP codes), due to vapor leaks affecting the emissions system.
