A fender liner is an inner shield made of plastic, rubber, or thin sheet metal located within the wheel well of a vehicle. It acts as a protective barrier between the wheel and the fender, preventing dirt, rocks, water, and debris from damaging the fender, engine bay, and other essential components. Fender liners are especially important for protecting vulnerable parts, such as the radiator, hoses, electrical components, and suspension, from moisture and road debris.

Fender Liner Failure Symptoms
  • Visible Cracks, Tears, or Gaps: One of the most obvious signs of a failing fender liner is visible cracks, tears, or missing sections, leaving parts of the wheel well exposed
  • Debris or Water in the Engine Bay: If a fender liner is damaged or missing, you may notice an increase in dirt, gravel, or water inside the engine bay or near suspension components, potentially leading to damage

Exact Fit, OEM Wheel Arch, Fender Liner for Volvo XC60
These are a direct fit replacement OEM manufactured genuine Volvo fender liners. Don't get fooled by the cheap aftermarket fender liners that "say they fit" the XC60 like other parts dealers sell. Those cheap fender liners are not the same as these from FCP Euro. Yes, those cheaper aftermarket fender liners will fit, however they are made of one single molded plastic piece that's just stamped, cut and drilled. These genuine Volvo factory replacement OEM fender liners have a pressed felt texture (sound deadening) to the liner material and the plastic embellishments and fender lip clips to clip and screw to the wheel arches. They came shipped in a large box with Volvo branding. These are easy to install. I was able to remove the old damaged liner and install the new liner without jacking up the vehicle and removing the wheel(s). You'll need to turn the steering wheel to one lock, remove the fasteners and then turn the steering wheel to the opposite lock and remove the rest of the fasteners. Place new fender and attach in reverse order. Lastly, what's not to love about FCP Euro's lifetime replacement guarantee? However, these genuine Volvo factory replacement OEM fender liners should last 100K's of miles if installed properly and cleaned regularly. Thanks FCP Euro!
