Product Information

BRExhaust Direct-Fit Replacement Exhaust Kit 106-0631 takes the guesswork out of replacing your 1980-1993 Volvo exhaust system while offering the same sound and reliability as the OEM exhaust. You will find all of the gaskets and clamps needed to get the job done in the carefully packaged box. 106-0631’s precision mandrel bent pipes facilitate superior exhaust flow compared to the crush-bent pipes commonly used in competing aftermarket replacement exhaust systems. The multi-piece, bolt-on design ensures the exhaust system is easy to install yourself and fits perfectly to help get you back on the road in no time. No bending or welding is required for installation. BRExhaust Direct-Fit Replacement Exhaust Kit 106-0631 features durable aluminized steel construction and is covered by a 2 year warranty. BRExhaust 106-0631 is engineered for OEM 31372147, 31372177, 31372179 exhaust replacement.

Exhaust System Kit

An exhaust system kit is a complete set of components designed to route and treat engine exhaust gases before releasing them into the atmosphere. It typically includes pipes, mufflers, resonators, catalytic converters, clamps, and hangers. The system reduces harmful emissions, minimizes noise, and directs hot exhaust gases safely away from the engine and cabin. Aftermarket kits may also improve performance and efficiency by optimizing exhaust flow.

Exhaust System Kit Failure Symptoms
  • Loud or unusual noises such as rumbling or hissing from leaks or damaged parts.
  • Decreased engine performance or fuel efficiency due to restricted or leaking flow.
  • Strong exhaust odors inside or around the vehicle, indicating leaks or faulty sealing.

Questions & Answers

Ask a question
Question Posted by Devon
Under the description it says there is a 2 year warranty but under warranty its says it has the FCP Lifetime warranty. Which is it? Also which exhaust diameter is this? And is it galvanised or stainless?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
BRE offers a manufacturer warranty of 2 years that can be worked through directly with them, however we do offer a lifetime warranty that is listed below for reference. https://www.fcpeuro.com/page/lifetime-guarantee Exhaust diameter on these would be 2 inches, and would be a Aluminized Steel not stainless or galvanized.
Question Posted by a customer
Is this kit over-axle or under?
Answer (Posted by FCP Euro Products Team)
This is an over-axle exhaust.
