S60 Muffler
Garbage. Waste of money. First muffler and resonator pipe lasted 3 years and rotted apart at the muffler inlet. "Warranty exchanged" them. Warranty meaning UPS back at your cost and then buy replacements and get a store credit. So not really a warranty. Second "warranty" exhaust lasted 2 years and again, inlet pipe rotted off. Yes, I live in NY with road salt. Yes, I wash under vehicle all the time in the winter. Exhaust pipe metal is cheap and thin. I found a stock cat back exhaust on Ebay for HALF the price, free shipping and made of heavy stainless steel.

Great Muffler
This muffler is relatively easy to install onto the existing exhaust pipe if you can make a clean cut to remove the old muffler. I found that 2 1/2" band clamps are too large. A 2 1/4" band clamp was just a little small but it is holding the muffler to the factory exhaust pipe just fine and didn't need to be welded.

perfect replacement, nice and quiet
Hardest part was finding a clamp that fit. FCP is out of stock and u clamps won't work. Need a band clamp. worst case, just weld it on.

Rear muffler works great
This muffler fit well, as quiet as the original.

Once I cut the old muffler from the rest of my exhaust, does the small section of pipe upstream from this muffler fit around the exhaust pipe on the car? I guess I'm wondering if I need an expander to fit this to the rest of the exhaust pipe on my car.

No, the end on this is designed to accommodate over the existing pipe, it comes expanded and slotted

My muffler is welded to the exhaust pipe leading back to the engine. If I cut this pipe, will the replacement muffler fit the exhaust pipe? Can I simply purchase the optional clamp and clamp the new muffler to the existing exhaust pipe?
