Product Information
An exhaust muffler is a component in a vehicle’s exhaust system designed to reduce engine noise and direct exhaust gases safely out of the tailpipe. It contains chambers, baffles, or perforated tubes that dissipate sound waves while allowing exhaust flow.
Exhaust Muffler Failure Symptoms- Loud or unusual exhaust noise – Rust holes, cracks, or internal damage causing reduced sound dampening.
- Visible rust or holes – Corrosion from moisture, road salt, or age.
- Exhaust fumes inside the vehicle – Leaks allowing gases to escape before the tailpipe.
- Reduced engine performance or fuel efficiency – Severe blockages or internal collapse restricting exhaust flow.
About Starla
Starla is a Swedish Corporation that supplies exhaust components to the Automotive OE and Aftermarket segments. You can find Starla components on European vehicles especially Volvo's and Saabs. In 2006 the large exhaust company, Walker. had extended its foreign application coverage by taking on Starla for its exhaust offering. Chances are when receiving a Walker product for your European vehicle, the Walker sticker is stuck right over the original Starla sticker.

didn't need to cut or fabricate to install
Excellent fitment, everything lined up,make sure to order the hanger that goes with the muffler, fits the factory mounts. I do recommend a tailpipe expander when doing this job, sometimes you have to open the pipe up slightly.
