An exhaust manifold is a component that collects exhaust gases from the engine’s cylinders and directs them into the exhaust system. Typically made of cast iron, stainless steel, or tubular steel, it bolts directly to the engine cylinder head and channels gases into the catalytic converter and exhaust pipes.

• Exhaust leaks (ticking or hissing noise) – especially noticeable during acceleration or cold starts.
• Reduced engine performance – loss of power or acceleration due to improper exhaust flow.
• Check Engine Light (CEL) – triggered by oxygen sensor readings affected by leaks.
