Right hand (passenger side) engine mount for 6cyl engine vehicles. Common failure point resulting in excess vibration and engine movement transferring to the cabin. Commonly ordered with torque mount 31430441
Engine mounts are designed to keep your engine and transmission supported and fixed to your vehicles frame or sub-frame without causing excessive vibrations that can enter the cabin. Engine mounts keep your drive-train properly aligned and if failed can promote drive train vibrations and premature component wear. Over time, your engine mounts deteriorate resulting in extra engine noise, engine rocking, a less enjoyable driving experience, and thus must be replaced.

did the trick - identical to the OEM item, easy to install, resulted in much smoothly feel/idling.

Great replacement, fixed my xc70 wired vibration when car in reverse.
Same as OE and a great price. Installing is only 5 bolts and easily accessed once you move the brake fluid reservoir a bit out of the way (there are several Google videos on the process). However, unless you brace and support the engine with a jack and block of wood, the engine will move/dip a bit when you remove the engine mount. And a second person may be needed to put the upper engine bracket so you can align the 3 bolts on the engine bracket.
Replaced this in conjuction with a torque mount on my XC60. Fit perfectly and resolved my engine vibration.
Sound like your exhaust is rattling loose when you turn a right corner or put the car in reverse? Surprise! It's not the exhaust - it's this mount.
If you need to check if yours is bad, this mount is just to the right of the coolant reservoir (facing the engine bay) and below the "Dog Bone" Torque strut mount on top and metal mounting plate. You should be able to get a finger between the metal part and the black dome of this mount - if not, it collapsed and is what's making the noise.
Corteco was one of the OE manufacturers, and this one went in perfectly and immediately resolved my issue - FCP got it here rocket fast and the lifetime warranty is a nice promise. Decided to order the rest of the mounts from FCP as well, since when one goes bad, usually they're all going bad. Great folks and products here!
Pretty certain this is the same exact part as the Volvo-branded part, just with the sticker removed. Engine now sits level and vibrations have been minimized.

If I have to replace the upper torque mount (dog bone) on my 2008 XC-70 should I also replace this engine mount directly underneath? Torque specs would be a big help. Also does this part also fit a 2013 S60 T-5? Thanks in advance!
