If you have a "vertical" thermostat assembly, this is the correct part. And yes, it only comes as a single unit so you can't just replace the thermostat itself. You do get a new thermostat sensor with the unit, so that's a benefit. Be sure to do as the note says and buy the separate one-time-use gasket that goes between the engine head and the assembly. You will most likely have to move the power steering pump to gain access to the assembly's bottom torx screw, so this job will take some time. The 2003 Haynes manual did not have a torque for the screws so I decided to use 15 ft-lbs.
