Product Information

This is a new exterior window scraper seal molding for 200 series car (except 262), and 140/164 from 1974. It will fit both the left or the right side windows on 2-door models. These are new production by Skandix, made in Germany and tested to be a perfect fit and finish.

Door Window Seal

A door window seal (also called a weatherstrip or window channel seal) is the rubber lining that fits around the edge of a car’s door window. Its main purpose is to create a tight seal between the glass and the door frame, preventing water, wind, and noise from entering the cabin. It also helps keep the window stable while moving up and down.

Door Window Seal Failure Symptoms
  • Water leaks inside the cabin during rain or car washes due to gaps or cracks in the seal.
  • Wind noise or whistling at higher speeds as air passes through worn or loose seals.
