Disc brake caliper repair kits typically consist of seals, dust boots, and miscellaneous hardware that is often overlooked but critical to proper brake caliper operation. If these caliper components are damaged, or if uneven brake pad wear is observed, a new caliper repair kit should be installed. Fresh seals and dust boots should also be installed on every caliper rebuild. Higher mileage calipers, calipers with unknown service history, or brake systems with poor brake fluid conditions can also benefit from the components in a brake caliper repair kit.

ATE Caliper Repair Kit
Excellent kit for rebuilding worn & damaged rear ATE calipers. My go-to for repairing worn but still usable ATE calipers. Before you order a rebuild kit, make sure you check what calipers your Volvo has.

This kit is great! I rebuilt one of my calipers, and replaced the other one. At the same time, I also replaced the disks. Long story short: the caliper I replaced, which had been rebuilt failed later, but the one I rebuilt with this rebuild kit is still going strong. that was 4 years ago, and at least 30k miles ago. probably 50k.
