Product Information

This kit is designed as a robust cooling system upgrade for your classic Volvo. In addition to a brand new OE radiator freeing up any cooling inefficiencies from years of deposits and buildup, this kit also includes silicone hoses, stainless steel clamps, and coolant.

These hoses are entirely manufactured in high-quality silicone for the best finish and durability. With three to five layers of reinforcement, depending of the inner diameter, the hoses withstand high-pressure rates and high temperatures for a long time. The original hoses are manufactured in rubber that often crack from age. This solution adds considerable durability and looks great too.

This kit contains Zerex® G48 coolant, which is OE formulated to Volvo coolant specifications. Color dye is dark blue, and can be mixed with all OE HOAT coolants regardless of color. You can read more about Zerex® coolant and your Volvo [HERE].

Radiator Kit

Your radiator is an integral, and arguably, the most important part of the cooling system. It is designed to expel heat from the coolant via the small fins. Most radiators fail when the end tanks crack causing leaks, but higher mileage radiators which have missing or bent fins often are clogged up with debris which can also cause overheating issues as the radiator cannot expel heat effectively. If your radiator is in rough shape we recommend replacing it. We also highly recommend inspecting/replacing the upper and lower radiator hose at that time.
