For Volvo's with 4 bolt mount control arms, compare to original before ordering

Control arms are an essential part of your Volvo's suspension. Most commonly replaced due to worn out bushings, these arms are the lower component that connects the steering knuckle, ball joint, and strut's to the vehicle's frame and/or body. Without a sturdy set of control arms there is a good chance your vehicle will wander all over the road. Refresh your ride!

Common Failure Symptoms:

  • Noise from front end over bumps
  • Abnormal tire wear
  • Vehicle wandering while driving
  • Poor Steering response
  • Poor Handling
  • Harsh ride
  • Clunking noise over bumps

I have always had good luck with Meyle products. This one was a little hit and miss. The quality looks quite good and I'm hopeful it will last as long as the Lemfoerder/OEM. The first one I tried however just would not line up on the subframe. I could get two of the bolts in on one side, but the bolt holes on the other side were off at least a quarter inch and would not seat. I returned that one and got a replacement and it had the same problem. I ended up being able get it to work (BFH and a second set of hands), but it should not have been that hard to do. I haven't done a lot of control arm replacements, but this isn't my first time either and I never ran in to that before. But it's in and hopefully will last. FCP is always great to deal with.

Some of the reviewers above may have been rewarded for their positive & negative reviews. We don't hold anything back.
