Volvo Control Arm 2 Bolt Mount (850 S70 V70) - Lemforder 8628495

For 2 bolt mount, compare to original control arm before ordering

Control arms are an essential part of your Volvo's suspension. Most commonly replaced due to worn out bushings, these arms are the lower component that connects the steering knuckle, ball joint, and strut's to the vehicle's frame and/or body. Without a sturdy set of control arms there is a good chance your vehicle will wander all over the road. Refresh your ride!

Common Failure Symptoms:

  • Noise from front end over bumps
  • Abnormal tire wear
  • Vehicle wandering while driving
  • Poor Steering response
  • Poor Handling
  • Harsh ride
  • Clunking noise over bumps

In my opinion, for a part like this, OEM is the best way to go. The original control arms lasted a shade over 120k miles. So, I should not have to worry about doing them again.

Line up was perfect. Reasonably easy install. After 2,000 miles no issues. Buy with confidence at FCP.

Quality

Very price competitive for genuine manufactured parts. They went in 1, 2, 3.

Worth The Extra Money. Seriously.

A third control arm replacement in 4 years was my 'come to jesus' moment in regards to Genuine Volvo parts. Two economy brand control arms burned through their ball joints in a couple seasons. After the scary second failure, I got serious and went with Genuine, no problems for 3+ years now. If you plan to have a long term relationship with your Volvo, I urge you to go with Genuine. It costs more upfront obviously, but you'll recoup it eventually not having to do (or pay a mechanic $100 an hour to do) the job multiple times.

Some of the reviewers above may have been rewarded for their positive & negative reviews. We don't hold anything back.
