If your ride feels a little bouncy or you can feel clunks in the suspension while it's going over bumps it is likely due to worn strut assemblies and shock absorbers. The purpose of the strut assembly is it acts as a central pivot point for the front suspension while housing the coil spring. It also dampens the compression and rebound of the coil spring as the suspension moves up and down.

This comes up in multiple sources as fitting my 2017 Volvo xc90 turbo VIN YV4A22PK6H1187278. But your fitment list doesn't list my car. Does it fit? Does it come with the spring?

I would not use this 19-282329 on your 2017 XC90, since Bilstein themselves only approve it for the 2018–2023 XC60. For a 2017 XC90 with standard/non-electronic suspension, Bilstein 22-250421 is the correct B4 front strut; if your XC90 has Four-C/air suspension, it uses a different setup entirely.
Also, the coil spring is not included. This is the strut/damper with a fixed spring seat; Bilstein specifically notes “Spring Seat Included: Yes - Fixed” and no boot, so the spring and other strut hardware are separate.
