The description of this product is incomplete. In the box with the VVT unit in the picture is a front cam seal, bolt to attach the VVT unit to the camshaft and the plug to cover the bolt. It would have been helpful to know this at the time of purchase since I purchased all those parts separately for this repair. This VVT unit seems to be very high quality, though I've only driven about 50 miles on it since installation but I have no reason not to expect many more miles and years of good performance from my S40. I had been planning this repair for several weeks when this website only had the Genuine Volvo VVT units for sale but when I was ready to purchase, these units were the only ones for sale for $100 less than Genuine Volvo. I call it a win!
