This fluid is sprayed onto the windshield to help clear dirt, debris, and other obstructions, ensuring good visibility. The reservoir is typically located under the hood and connected to the washer pump and nozzles via tubing.

Washer Fluid Reservoir Failure Symptoms
  • Fluid Leaks: Cracks or punctures in the reservoir may cause washer fluid to leak, resulting in low or empty fluid levels despite refilling
  • Frequent Refill Needed: If the reservoir empties faster than usual, it’s a sign that there may be a leak somewhere in the reservoir or its connected lines.
