Brake Hydraulic Hose Kit

Brake hydraulic hoses are the flexible hoses that connect the hard lines that run along the body or frame of your vehicle to the brake calipers. Brake hoses are unbique in the fact they are designed and sized properly to move with the suspension as it travels up and down over bumps in the road.

Since brake hoses carry hydraulic fluid as well as transfer pressure to the brake calipers/wheel cylinders it is critical to inspect these hoses regularly for any types of fraying or external cracks. Traditional rubber hoses tend to shrink over time internally restricting the flow of pressure to the brake calipers. Because of this FCP Euro recommends replacing brake hoses in matches pairs to ensure even braking performance at each corner of the axle.

Good hose replacement option for our 2005 V70R
These hoses are working great on our 2005 V70R. I took one star off as the rear hoses are a little longer than the OE hoses. This was not an issue for installation and hasn't been an issue in use so far (I've driven about 2k miles with them installed), but I thought it should be noted in case something shows up later.

These seem to be a very well-made hoses, the fittings fit like OE, and the fronts seem to just about be a perfect match. However, the rear hoses are about two inches longer than factory; I suspect the fitment info might not be correct for a 2006 2.5T AWD. Still, they weren't so long they'd cause issues, so I'm going to run them. Four stars for FCP's database apparently being slightly off kilter, not for there being anything wrong with the product.

Great set of brake lines over oem. Make sure your brakets are not bent in a way where to tire will make contact with the line this happened to me due to PO of the VR breaking the metal line and bending the metal holder i didnt catch it.

Great Value
Great quality... Much better than standard rubber lines... Honestly I installed these while ALSO installing new rotors and pads so I can't tell specifically if the improved pedal feel is down to the new pads, rotors, lines or combination of all items... The only thing that I didn't like about the instal was the part that threads into the caliper IS NOT "free turning"... In other words, when you are threading it into the caliper you have to rotate the entire line... Kinda annoying... But if you remember to install the caliper end FIRST and then attach the other end to the brake lines on the body of the car... Other than that they are great! Awesome value for money and who could ask more when you buy from FCP Euro with their Lifetime Guarantee!!

The seals on the hose are internal to the fittings, this kit comes with everything for a plug and play installation except for fresh DOT4 brake fluid.
