This vacuum ejector is part of the vacuum system on Volvo P2 chassis cars. It is designed to power the brake booster and when it fails, you may have issues with the vehicles brakes being under powered, as well as other running problems as the result of a large vacuum leak including stalling at low speed when using the brakes.
