Volvo Blower Motor Removal Tool - CTA Manufacturing 1076

Bought this tool to replace my OEM blower motor. I'm at 141K miles and it's been chirping since 135K miles every time I hit a speed bump, pothole, road crack or even turn in a great radius. Got tired of it and the local shops/dealers quoted me $1200. Instead, I bought this tool and the $83 motor offered by FCPeuro for my year/model XC70. Install took about 7hrs with two people but it could be faster for more experienced individuals. 10/10 recommend the swap. Since installing it this morning, my A/C blows colder, it blows quieter and it finally stopped chirping. Word of advice, that middle piece can slide further out. Recommend keeping it bout the same length as pictured on the product page. If you have it too far, the center shaft in the blower will inhibit the prongs from latching onto the fan casing and you'll spend an hour or two trying to remove it.
