Volvo HVAC Blower Motor - Nissens 31320393

Refresh the cabin environment in your Volvo P2 chassis (2001-2009 S60, 2001-2007 V70, 2003-2014 XC70, 1999-2006 S80, and 2003-2014 XC90) with this quality aftermarket Nissens blower motor. This critical component powers your vehicle's heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system, ensuring consistent airflow to regulate the temperature inside your car.

This is a common failure part for the Volvo P2 (among others), and typically the reason for failure is the motor bearing which will cause a very annoying squealing or chirping noise and erratic speed changes without changing the speed setting. Generally the noise gets louder or more frequent when cold. Occasionally the motor will burn out all together, which can be detected by a distinct burning electronics smell.

If your fan consistently works on some speeds but not others, more likely the blower fan resistor (also sometimes called a control unit) is bad. We have several options to choose from: [CLICK HERE].

Since they are located near eachother, we highly recommend replacing both at the same time to make sure your HVAC blower system is in good shape and you won't have to open the dash again for a long time, if ever.

We have an easy to follow DIY for the P2 XC90, which will be very similar to other P2 chassis cars with small differences in just the paneling you will encounter in the interior of the car.
