Product Information

This kit includes all required replacement parts to replace the balance shaft bearings in the 4.4l Volvo V8 engine. The left (front) cylinder head must be removed to access the balance shaft. The anaerobic sealant is for the edge of the cylinder head gasket joining to the timing cover.

When the bearings go bad on the balance shaft, you will hear a rattling noise coming from the center of the engine's 'V'.

This kit contains Zerex® G48 coolant, which is OE formulated to Volvo coolant specifications. Color dye is dark blue, and can be mixed with all OE HOAT coolants regardless of color. You can read more about Zerex® coolant and your Volvo [HERE].
