VDO Radiator fan 31368075
Put this on a 2008 Volvo XC90 v8. Works, but getting it attached was difficult. It has shrouds projecting from it to the back of the radiator that contact projections from the radiator too tightly, so it was difficult getting the fan in place and lining up the bolt holes at the same time. If you buy this you may want to replace the existing bolts (that hold the top of the fan) with longer ones, which may make it easier to lever them into their holes. Note you can replace this fan without taking the radiator out of the car, by taking out the 2 bolts holding the radiator to the frame. This lowers the radiator (with the fan on it) enough so that the top clears the sheet metal across the top of the whole assembly.

Not the same as original Volvo 3.2, smaller fan blades
I installed this fan and it works. However, the fan blades have less surface area than the original Volvo that it replaced. This one works, but I wonder if the original one pushed more air in the low speed, resulting in less need for the on high. If I had to purchase again, I’d spend extra on the original Volvo one. Buy new mounting screws because one of mine dropped into the abyss during installation as they are difficult to access.
