Product Information

Installation requires special tools, drill and rivet nut tool, for drilling out the car's existing holes and bolting the protective plate solidly to the subframe. The special mounting process is the only way for an aluminum skidplate to offer the protection you demand.

This aluminum shield is designed to protect engine- sump and transmission from bottoming when driving on really bad surfaces. Mounting kit 8698473 is required to install this skid plate.
