Body A-Pillar Trim Panel

A body A-pillar trim panel is the interior or exterior covering that fits over the A-pillar, which is the vertical structural support running from the front of the roof down to the base of the windshield on either side of the car. This trim serves both aesthetic and functional purposes: it hides structural metal and wiring, provides a finished look to the cabin, and in many vehicles, helps house components such as airbags, weather seals, or wiring for sensors and antennas. It also contributes to reducing wind noise and improving overall cabin insulation.

A Pillar Trim
Just received both Genuine Volvo A pillar trim pieces today. Packaged in durable Volvo plastic wrapping to protect the part, the part arrived in huge box in pristine condition! Thank you FCP!

Perfect color matched part.
This is exactly what I needed to remedy the unsightly cloth peeling off of the underlying foam, which was basically deteriorating. It took minutes to install. Simply pop off the covers for the grab handle, remove the 2 x 10mm bolts, remove the grab handle, snap out the old A-pillar and then snap in the new. This was about the easiest thing I've done to our XC90. Now the driver side A-pillar is starting to peel slightly. I think I have a few months before I'll have to purchase that part. Thanks for an easy fix.

Are these cloth covered? My 2006 XC90 has suffered water/humidity damage due to sunroof drain leaking into the driver side floor pan. The cloth is coming loose from both A Pillar panels.
