The A/C evaporator core is like a heater core for your air conditioning system, in that is it often mounted inside your car (or near the firewall) and is connected to your car's HVAC fan to cool the car's interior. Just like a heater core, the main reason an evaporator core needs to be replaced is because it is leaking. Be sure to choose the correct year, make, model, engine and transmission type as condensers can vary greatly due to the equipment installed and feel free to call us with any questions.

A car's evaporator core, also known as the evaporator coil, is a vital component of a car's air conditioning system that regulates the temperature of the air inside the vehicle. The evaporator core absorbs heat, removes humidity, and distributes cool air into the car through the blower fan.

Mr.
Evap was a good fit, however it did not come with the black plastic evap tubes holder that the factory one had. I had to cut it out from the factory evap and hot glue it onto the new evap. This holder was important to install in that when you hook up the lines in the engine compartment to the evap tubes, you use a lot of force, so the holder prevents the tubes from moving.
