Volvo A/C Condenser (S60 V70 XC70 S80) - Behr 30781281

The A/C condenser is like a radiator for your air conditioning system, in that is it often mounted at the front of your and its purpose is to cool (the refrigerant for the condenser vs. engine coolant for the radiator). Just like a radiator, the main reason a condenser needs to be replaced is because it is leaking. Be sure to choose the correct year, make, model, engine and transmission type as condensers can vary greatly due to the equipment installed, and feel free to call us with any questions.

Small Differences But Basically As Good As Oem..

Looks and fits just like OEM except the plastic bezel/cover (i dont know what this useless thing is for) on the right side of the condenser needs to be pushed in for the tabs to fit between the little fins on the condenser (there are holes in the OEM one that accept the tabs on the plastic cover). That and it has a cheaper looking and differently threaded AC refill port so you cant just replace it with your heavy duty looking OEM black plastic screw-on cap (its the one that says '3nm' on it). The plastic cap on the OEM one has a metal threaded sleeve inside that screws onto the ac condenser refill port, and this Behr one has a cheap black plastic cap with no additional sleeve inside. Other than that it seems functionally the same, although the 'drier' is basically a separate part that is attached to the side of the condenser and is also slightly different than the OEM one. Will it make a difference in the long run? Probably not.

Some of the reviewers above may have been rewarded for their positive & negative reviews. We don't hold anything back.
