Does your BMW sputter when you have half a tank of gas?

If your BMW has a half tank of gas or less and keeps sputtering or running out of fuel despite the fuel tank having fuel in it it could be due to the sucking jet pump.

This sucking jet pump works on the venturi principle by using high and low pressure. It uses a pipe with a narrowing in the center like an hour glass and when fuel that returns from the engine passes through the pipe in front of the narrowing it creates a suction on the other side which pumps the fuel that is left in the left side of the tank over to the right side continuously.

Just a heads-up; doesn't seem to come with the pictured fuel tank gasket and little O-ring! Mine did not.
