Part of your BMW's intake manifold

The intake manifold adjuster, more commonly referred to as a DISA valve, is responsible for helping your BMW produce the best possible output across the rev range. The DISA valve artificially lengthens the intake runner at low RPM's for more low end torque and shortens the intake runners at high RPM's for more top end power.

A failed/failing DISA valve has the following symptoms:

  • Hesitation at low rpm
  • Rough idle
  • Lean codes
  • Loud noises from engine bay

Didn't fit
I've bought other Vaico parts and been perfectly happy with them, but not this one! It did not fit - the stem of the flap valve was too long so the assembly would not slide in all the way and seal against the intake. The difference was only about 3mm and was unnoticeable by my naked eye. I returned it and bought the next more expensive brand, which fit without issue.

PERFECT FIT AND FUNCTION
MY BMW DISA VALVE STARTED MAKING NOISE AND WAS THE CAUSE OF A CODE IN MY OLD X5. THIS ONE DID THE TRICK AND THE VEHICLE RUNS MUCH SMOOTHER AND GETS WAY BETTER GAS MILEAGE NOW.

I trust FCP Euro to deliver the correct parts the first time, I don't trust myself to order the correct part though. I have to be certain this will fit my car on first try, how can I be 100% it's the one I need? My vin is WBADT63422CK27263. Other places charge upwards of $400, I just want to be certain without doubt that I'm ordering the right one. Also does it come with o ring and mounting hardware?
