Saab Seat Belt Guide - Genuine Saab 13246789

Product Information

A seat belt guide is a small plastic or metal component designed to properly position the seat belt for comfort and safety. It is usually found on the seat or near the shoulder area of the B-pillar, ensuring the belt lies flat across the occupant’s chest and shoulder rather than digging into the neck or slipping out of place. By keeping the belt aligned, the guide improves both ease of use and the effectiveness of the restraint system during a collision.

• Seat belt does not stay in the correct position, slipping off the shoulder or rubbing uncomfortably against the neck.
• Rattling, looseness, or broken pieces of the guide making it unable to hold the belt properly.
• Difficulty pulling the belt smoothly through the guide, causing sticking or uneven movement.

About Genuine Saab

The original parts used by Saab to build your car are available as replacement parts under the “Genuine Saab” brand. Manufactured under the direction of Saab, expect excellent quality and a premium price since these parts are exclusively available through the Saab Dealership network.

You may not realize this, but the parts that make up your Saab are not necessarily manufactured by Saab. No cause for concern, as Saab designs the part, hires a manufacturer, and ensures its quality to you. In fact, many of these manufacturers have been making parts for Saab for decades. In our industry these manufacturers are called OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers), and these are often brands you recognize, including Lemforder, ZF, Sachs, Bosch, Valeo, Zimmermann, Siemens VDO, Corteco, and more. Don’t be surprised to open that Genuine Saab parts box and find an OEM branded part inside, simply with the addition of a Saab logo.

Be sure to keep an eye out for OE tags on our product pages to quickly identify parts coming direct from OE manufacturers. That extra bit of insight could save you some serious money while shopping! Refer to our OE Academy for further information regarding the OE/OEM tags throughout the site.
