A roof drip molding is a trim piece installed along the edges of a vehicle’s roofline, designed to channel rainwater away from the windows and doors. By controlling water flow, it helps keep the interior dry, reduces streaking on side glass, and prevents corrosion around door seals. In addition to its functional role, roof drip molding also provides a finished, streamlined look to the vehicle’s exterior.

  • Water leaking into the cabin, especially near doors or windows during rain.
  • Loose, cracked, or missing molding, leading to poor water channeling.
  • Faded or warped appearance, caused by prolonged sun and weather exposure.
