Kick Panel Trim

The kick panel trim is an interior finishing component located along the lower side of the vehicle’s cabin, typically near the driver’s and passenger’s footwells. Its purpose is to protect wiring and structural elements while providing a clean, finished look to the interior. Made from durable plastic or composite material, it resists scuffs, impacts, and daily wear from passengers’ feet. The kick panel trim also contributes to cabin noise reduction and overall interior fit-and-finish.

Kick Panel Trim Failure Symptoms
  • Visible cracks, scratches, or broken sections – reduce the panel’s protective and aesthetic function.
  • Loose or rattling fitment – caused by worn or damaged clips and mounting points.
