Saab Interior Rear View Mirror Cover - Genuine Saab 20830028

Product Information

An interior rear view mirror cover is a trim piece that conceals and protects the mounting hardware, wiring, and sensor modules (such as rain sensors, auto-dimming, or lane assist cameras) located behind the rear view mirror. It provides a clean, finished look to the interior while also shielding sensitive components from dust, debris, and accidental damage.

• Loose or Misaligned Fitment – The cover rattles, shifts, or doesn’t sit flush against the windshield/mirror assembly.
• Cracks or Visible Damage – Plastic housing may be cracked, chipped, or broken, exposing internal wiring or sensors.
• Detachment or Missing Cover – The cover falls off or is missing entirely, leaving the mirror mount and electronics exposed.

About Genuine Saab

The original parts used by Saab to build your car are available as replacement parts under the “Genuine Saab” brand. Manufactured under the direction of Saab, expect excellent quality and a premium price since these parts are exclusively available through the Saab Dealership network.

You may not realize this, but the parts that make up your Saab are not necessarily manufactured by Saab. No cause for concern, as Saab designs the part, hires a manufacturer, and ensures its quality to you. In fact, many of these manufacturers have been making parts for Saab for decades. In our industry these manufacturers are called OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers), and these are often brands you recognize, including Lemforder, ZF, Sachs, Bosch, Valeo, Zimmermann, Siemens VDO, Corteco, and more. Don’t be surprised to open that Genuine Saab parts box and find an OEM branded part inside, simply with the addition of a Saab logo.

Be sure to keep an eye out for OE tags on our product pages to quickly identify parts coming direct from OE manufacturers. That extra bit of insight could save you some serious money while shopping! Refer to our OE Academy for further information regarding the OE/OEM tags throughout the site.
