A horn contact ring is a crucial component of a vehicle's horn system that allows the driver to effectively alert other drivers and pedestrians to potential hazards or situations on the road. It is a small disc-shaped part, usually made of metal or plastic, that serves as a connection point between the horn button on the steering wheel and the horn relay.

Located inside the steering wheel, the horn contact ring completes the electrical circuit that activates the horn when the driver presses the horn button.
