Saab Emblem - Genuine Saab 6918031

Product Information

Emblems serve as key visual identifiers for a vehicle, often displaying the make, model, or trim level. They are typically found on various exterior parts such as the deck lid, grille, fenders, doors, hood, and bumpers. Emblems and their retainers help to personalize and distinguish a vehicle's appearance

• Fading or discoloration can occur due to prolonged exposure to sunlight and harsh weather conditions, diminishing the emblem's aesthetic appeal.
• Peeling, cracking, or detachment may result from the degradation of the emblem material or its adhesive backing over time.
• A weakened adhesive can cause the emblem to become loose or fall off entirely, leading to a missing emblem.

About Genuine Saab

The original parts used by Saab to build your car are available as replacement parts under the “Genuine Saab” brand. Manufactured under the direction of Saab, expect excellent quality and a premium price since these parts are exclusively available through the Saab Dealership network.

You may not realize this, but the parts that make up your Saab are not necessarily manufactured by Saab. No cause for concern, as Saab designs the part, hires a manufacturer, and ensures its quality to you. In fact, many of these manufacturers have been making parts for Saab for decades. In our industry these manufacturers are called OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers), and these are often brands you recognize, including Lemforder, ZF, Sachs, Bosch, Valeo, Zimmermann, Siemens VDO, Corteco, and more. Don’t be surprised to open that Genuine Saab parts box and find an OEM branded part inside, simply with the addition of a Saab logo.

Be sure to keep an eye out for OE tags on our product pages to quickly identify parts coming direct from OE manufacturers. That extra bit of insight could save you some serious money while shopping! Refer to our OE Academy for further information regarding the OE/OEM tags throughout the site.
