Trim moldings are the decorative and protective strips or pieces attached to a vehicle’s exterior or interior surfaces, such as around windows, doors, bumpers, grilles, or along the body panels. It can be made of plastic, rubber, metal, or chrome and serves both aesthetic and functional purposes—protecting edges from damage and enhancing the vehicle’s appearance.

• Peeling or Detaching: The molding comes loose or falls off due to broken clips, adhesive failure, or impact.
• Cracks, Warping, or Fading: Exposure to sun, weather, or physical damage can cause the molding to crack, warp, or discolor.
