It is responsible for securely connecting and locking the ignition coil to the spark plug, ensuring efficient delivery of the high voltage electrical current needed to ignite the fuel mixture and start the engine.
The lock is made of durable materials such as metal or plastic and is designed to withstand the extreme temperatures and vibrations of the engine compartment.
