Product Information

Bumper Mounting Bracket

A bumper mounting bracket is a structural support piece that attaches the vehicle’s bumper cover to the frame or body. It ensures the bumper is securely positioned, aligned, and capable of absorbing minor impacts. These brackets are typically made of metal or reinforced plastic and are crucial for both safety and appearance.

Bumper Mounting Bracket Failure Symptoms
  • Loose or misaligned bumper, often with visible gaps or sagging.
  • Rattling or vibration noises while driving, caused by a broken or weakened bracket.
  • Reduced crash protection, as a damaged bracket may prevent the bumper from properly absorbing impacts.

About Genuine Saab

The original parts used by Saab to build your car are available as replacement parts under the “Genuine Saab” brand. Manufactured under the direction of Saab, expect excellent quality and a premium price since these parts are exclusively available through the Saab Dealership network.

You may not realize this, but the parts that make up your Saab are not necessarily manufactured by Saab. No cause for concern, as Saab designs the part, hires a manufacturer, and ensures its quality to you. In fact, many of these manufacturers have been making parts for Saab for decades. In our industry these manufacturers are called OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers), and these are often brands you recognize, including Lemforder, ZF, Sachs, Bosch, Valeo, Zimmermann, Siemens VDO, Corteco, and more. Don’t be surprised to open that Genuine Saab parts box and find an OEM branded part inside, simply with the addition of a Saab logo.

Be sure to keep an eye out for OE tags on our product pages to quickly identify parts coming direct from OE manufacturers. That extra bit of insight could save you some serious money while shopping! Refer to our OE Academy for further information regarding the OE/OEM tags throughout the site.
