Saab Bumper Guide - Genuine Saab 12846123

Product Information

A bumper guide is a support component that helps align and secure the bumper cover to the vehicle’s body structure. It ensures the bumper sits correctly in place, providing both stability and a seamless appearance. By holding the bumper firmly, the guide helps maintain proper fitment after impacts, vibrations, or regular driving stresses, while also contributing to the overall safety and aesthetics of the vehicle.

• Misaligned or loose bumper with visible gaps between the body and bumper cover.
• Rattling or vibration noises coming from the bumper area while driving.
• Bumper cover detaching or shifting position after minor impacts.

About Genuine Saab

The original parts used by Saab to build your car are available as replacement parts under the “Genuine Saab” brand. Manufactured under the direction of Saab, expect excellent quality and a premium price since these parts are exclusively available through the Saab Dealership network.

You may not realize this, but the parts that make up your Saab are not necessarily manufactured by Saab. No cause for concern, as Saab designs the part, hires a manufacturer, and ensures its quality to you. In fact, many of these manufacturers have been making parts for Saab for decades. In our industry these manufacturers are called OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers), and these are often brands you recognize, including Lemforder, ZF, Sachs, Bosch, Valeo, Zimmermann, Siemens VDO, Corteco, and more. Don’t be surprised to open that Genuine Saab parts box and find an OEM branded part inside, simply with the addition of a Saab logo.

Be sure to keep an eye out for OE tags on our product pages to quickly identify parts coming direct from OE manufacturers. That extra bit of insight could save you some serious money while shopping! Refer to our OE Academy for further information regarding the OE/OEM tags throughout the site.
