ABS Modulator

The ABS Modulator often referred to as a Control Module, is the microprocessor responsible for monitoring numerous sensors within the vehicle, primarily the ABS wheel speed sensors, to ultimately engage the anti-lock braking system in the event that it detects wheel lockup. The ABS Control Module accomplishes this by either reducing or pulsing brake hydraulic pressure at the wheels where it detects a skid condition.
