I purchased these for a 1988 Porsche 924S, which has the same cylinder head as the 1983-1988 Porsche 944. I provided these to my machine shop and they informed me that the valve guides were much too large for the head, in both ID and OD. Perhaps I got the wrong set, but for now I would say these are incorrect and should not be used for a 944.
