Product Information

This kit from FCP Euro includes everything you need to resolve severe coolant intrusion into your vacuum system of your 2.9 twin turbo V6. The new generation of turbocharged V6 engines from the Volkswagen Audi Group tend to suck up leaking coolant from the water pump into their vacuum systems. If caught early, this issue can usually be alleviated by replacing PAB131055A and its associated solenoid valves.

However, if you find coolant past the T leading to the changeover valve, this kit is for you. If coolant has passed this point, it is likely you have coolant intrusion into your turbocharger wastegate actuators, your vacuum pump, and even your vacuum reservoir. Don't allow these mission critical vacuum components to degrade and malfunction due to exposure to coolant. Choose the peace of mind that comes with an updated water pump and clean vacuum lines.

Water pump kits are listed below

  • For cars with outdated 4 bolt water pump, upgrade to a 6 bolt water pump with this conversion kit

  • For cars already equipped with the 6 bolt water pump, this kit replaces a faulty pump.

About Genuine Porsche

The original parts used by Porsche to build your car are available as replacement parts under the “Genuine Porsche” brand. Manufactured under the direction of Porsche, expect excellent quality and a premium price since these parts are exclusively available through the Porsche Dealership network.

You may not realize this, but the parts that make up your Porsche are not necessarily manufactured by Porsche. No cause for concern, as Porsche designs the part, hires a manufacturer, and ensures its quality to you. In fact, many of these manufacturers have been making parts for Porsche for decades. In our industry these manufacturers are called OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers), and these are often brands you recognize, including Lemforder, ZF, Sachs, Bosch, Valeo, Zimmermann, Siemens VDO, Corteco, and more. Don’t be surprised to open that Genuine Porsche parts box and find an OEM branded part inside, simply with the addition of a Porsche logo.

Be sure to keep an eye out for OE tags on our product pages to quickly identify parts coming direct from OE manufacturers. That extra bit of insight could save you some serious money while shopping! Refer to our OE Academy for further information regarding the OE/OEM tags throughout the site.
