Turn Signal Switch

A turn signal switch is a multifunction control mounted on the steering column that allows the driver to activate the vehicle’s turn signals and, in many cases, also operates functions like high beams, hazard lights, or wipers. It sends an electrical signal to the turn signal relay and lights, enabling communication of lane changes or turns to other drivers. A properly functioning switch is vital for both safety and regulatory compliance.

  • Turn signals not activating or canceling, even when the lever is engaged.
  • Intermittent or inconsistent signal operation, due to worn internal contacts.
  • Other functions failing, such as headlights or hazards, if integrated into the switch.
