Porsche 944 Timing Belt and Water Pump Kit

Use this kit to replace and update your engine water pump during a timing belt service.

This kit includes the turbo style water pump with all of the necessary components to update from the discontinued original style water pump to the turbo-style water pump.

Also included is the block off plate and o-ring to seal the additional thermostat port on the water pump. The smaller additional thermostat included with the water pump will not be used.

Pair with our balance shaft sealing kit, KIT-944BALSEALKT.

Timing Belt + Water Pump Kit
The kit included everything I needed to replace on our 944. All the parts matched up with the size of the elements already installed. It's a long job, but well worth giving a try yourself!

944 water pump and timing belts kit
Kit is not quite complete: I am replacing the water pump & belts on my 85.1 944 and needed to get the later thermostat spacer disc and the belt guard rail separately. Not a big deal, but would have been good to be included or clearly referenced that they are not in the kit. Also, the kit inexplicably includes two thermostat gaskets (early & late) despite the late water pump. Not a big deal, just confusing. Finally, there is only the lower balance shaft sealing ring. Why not both?
