Product Information

This hand crafted kit from the team at FCP Euro includes everything you need to replace the worn Shocks and Struts with the Bilstein B6 performance dampers. These dampers are meant to be paired with the factory spring while still offering significantly better performance than the OE dampers. In this kit we've included Genuine bump stops from the Sports Suspension option as an OE upgrade.

Please note that this kit is NOT made for cars equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM)

Suspension Strut and Shock Absorber Assembly Kit

A shock absorber kit is a set of replacement components designed to restore a vehicle's suspension system. It typically includes shock absorbers along with essential parts like mounting hardware and seals. These components work together to dampen the suspension by controlling the rebounding motion of the springs. Signs of a failing shock absorber include a bouncy ride, excessive body roll during cornering, nose-diving when braking, uneven tire wear, and sometimes visible fluid leaks from the shock.

  • Bouncy ride: The most noticeable sign, where the car continues to bounce excessively after hitting a bump
  • Nose dive when braking: The front end of the car dips significantly when applying the brakes
  • Excessive body roll in corners: The car leans excessively when turning, feeling unstable
  • Uneven tire wear: Irregular wear patterns on the tires, often with cupping or scalloping due to inconsistent contact with the road
