This kit uses an upgraded Bilstein B6 shock absorber, resulting in improved performance and firmer damping over stock.

Bilstein recommends using the stock coil springs with their B6 shock absorber.

Rear shocks
Placed the Bilstein kit on my Macan S because the original rear shock rubber bushings were almost completely worn. Anytime I hit a small bump in the road, all you could hear was a rear thud. I went with Bilstein over the original equipment because it was a small upgrade. I did the kit because, because why not replace everything new. So far so good. I made the right decision with the help from FCP tech. Now it's time to replace the front struts and arms.
