Product Information

The stabilizer bar link, also known as the sway bar end link, connects the stabilizer bar to the chassis which is used to limit body roll when cornering. The stabilizer bar link uses a ball joint on one end and a bushing on the other to make this connection. The ball joint and bushing are what wear out on these links. A worn or loose joint or bushing will lead to clunking over bumps.

It's common to replace the stabilizer bar links in pairs which is why we have created this stabilizer bar link kit which includes two front links and new mounting hardware. New stabilizer bar links will restore the handling and driving performance of your Porsche 911.

Inspect the stabilizer bar bushings at this time as well and if they show signs of wear they likely need to be replaced.

Suspension Stabilizer Bar Link Kit

Sway Bar links/stabilizer bar links connect the sway bar to the chassis and are an often overlooked replacement item. With age sway bar links, particularly links with ball joints, can develop play and will make knocking noises over bumps or when rocking the vehicle from side to side. If your sway bar links are in rough shape we recommend immediate replacement to restore handling. Always replace sway bar links in pairs.
